We would like to thank everyone that chipped in planting trees with us — many locals, friends, family, and colleagues came together to plant new trees to ensure NZ remains green.
For this initiative we, Island Aviation, teamed up with Oruawharo Medlands Ecovision – Thank you to everyone involved.
We are committed to supporting local environmental initiatives on the wonderful Great Barrier Island and beyond which we will continue to contribute for many more years to come.
Our efforts were beautifully captured, as seen in the below video documenting our work. We are grateful for the community allowing us to serve the locals with island transport and this is how we can give a little back.
As winter is truly with us now, we will still be available every day for flights to and from Great Barrier Island, as well as charter flights to other cities around the North Island.

Additionally, our North Shore base provides free parking and a free shuttle to the bus station with the quickest bus to Auckland city in less than 30 minutes.
