After exploring Gibbs Farm, the flight transitions to breathtaking views of Auckland’s downtown skyline and the surrounding volcanic landscape, including a close-up of Rangitoto’s crater. The city scenic portion offers some of the finest vistas of the region while traversing the picturesque Hauraki Gulf. Keep your eyes peeled for marine wildlife in their natural habitat; this area is home to around 45 Bryde’s whales year-round, along with migrating whales and large pods of dolphins.
